Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA LORRAINE WERENICH After a courageous third battle with cancer, Linda Werenich, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2011 at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 66 years. Left to forever cherish Linda's memory are her husband, Dennis Manson; daughter Tracey (Frank) of Swan River; son Cory (Pamela) of Winnipeg; stepdaughters Sandy (Roger) of Selkirk, Shauna (Jay) of Winnipeg; sisters June (Arnold) of Selkirk, Carol of Calgary; brother Randy (Judy) of Benito, and grandchildren Tanner, Holly, Teagan, Lucas, Nicholas and Janelle. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Bernice Schneider of Benito. Born on July 16, 1945, Linda grew up in the Harlington area of the Swan Valley and moved to Toronto, then on to Calgary where she worked in banking and started her family. After moving to Benito in 1979, she moved on to Edmonton and then Calgary before finally settling in Winnipeg in 1984, where she worked for the Bank of Montreal until she retired in the late 1990s. Linda enjoyed camping, fishing, and upon retirement, traveling with Dennis in his long haul truck across the U.S. and Canada, which she did for many years. Her grandchildren were very important to her and she visited with them often. Linda will be greatly missed by her family. In compliance with Linda's wishes there will be no Funeral Service. Her interment will be held at a later date in Benito.
