TIFFANY JEAN WINKO (nee MACINTOSH) 1981 - 2011 Peacefully on November 22, our loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend passed from this life, surrounded by her family, at Gimli Hospital after a long courageous battle with leukemia. Tiffany spent most of her life in the Gimli area where her proudest accomplishment was her family. Her husband Nicolas, son Christopher and daughter Chloe were the center of her universe. Even though Tiffany had her own battle to fight, other people always came first with her. Along with her husband and children, Tiffany leaves to mourn her many relatives from both families and countless friends. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Gimli Hospital, especially Sarah for always being on Tiffany's side making sure she passed surrounded with love and dignity. We would also like to thank the hundreds of residents of our Interlake Communities for their continuous help and out pouring of support over the last three years. You will live in our hearts forever. A private family gathering and interment will be held in Tiffany's memory as per her wishes. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Gimli Community Health Centre, Palliative Care Program, in Tiffany's memory. Tiffany's Message to Her Loved Ones When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rite in a gloom-filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little - but not too long And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared Miss me - but let me go. For this journey that we all must take And each must go alone, It's all part of the Master's plan A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds Miss Me - But Let Me Go!
