IRMGARD DOEPPLER 1937 - 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our cherished Wife, Mother, Oma and Friend on Friday, November 25, 2011. Irmgard is survived by the love of her life Werner. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Monica (George), Annette, and her grandchildren Mitchell and Christianna, who she dearly treasured. Irmgard was an extremely caring and loving person. She will be remembered for her strength, selflessness and giving nature, her unwavering love for her family and friends, and for these, Irmgard will be greatly missed. Irmgard immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1957 and made several lifelong friends. She greatly enjoyed cooking and baking and there was always a sweet treat to be had. She always wished that she could return to Maui which held fond memories for her. You were always assured to be greeted by a friendly smile, greeting or a wave by her. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 30 at 1:00 p.m., at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Private Family Interment will follow.
