MILDRED KATHERINE TARTE (CONLEY) Mildred Katherine Tarte passed away at Deer Lodge Centre on Thursday, December 1, 2011. The funeral services will be held at Chapel Lawn on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Longer obituary to follow. Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., 885-9715.

MILDRED KATHERINE TARTE (nee CONLEY) 1922 2011 Millie Tarte, 89, of Winnipeg, passed away at Deer Lodge Centre, Thursday, December 1, 2011. She was predeceased by her husband, Jim; parents, Andrew and Lily Conley; sisters Blanche (Dennis) and Ruth (Jack); brother Grant; and daughter-in-law Jacqueline. She is survived by her sons, Jim (Judy) and Ken (Sheila); grandchildren, Michelle (Dwayne), Laura; and great-grandchildren Kirk, Scott and Morgan; sisters, Thelma (Bert deceased), Shirley (Jack), Beverly (Allen), and Marlene (Lloyd); brother Raymond (Beverly); sister-in-law Gloria; and many nieces and nephews. She attended St. Barnabas Anglican Church for years, where she served on the Altar Guild. One of her greatest joys was hosting the Annual Conley Christmas Party; she also loved painting and knitting. She was a wonderful mom to her sons and a terrific grandmother and great-grandmother. We would like to thank the doctors and staff of the dialysis department atSt. Boniface Hospital, for all their help and support. Special thanks to the staff of 6 E, Deer Lodge Centre for their kindness, care and compassion to our mom.
