WILLIAM (RAY) SHEWFELT April 30, 1944 - November 22, 2011 With great sadness, we advise of Ray's passing away on November 22, 2011 in the Concordia Hospital, Winnipeg, in the presence of his brother, Burton. Ray was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Myrtle (Longmuir) Shewfelt. Ray was born in Kincardine, Ontario. When he was four years old, his parents and family moved to Grandview, Manitoba where he and his sisters and brother were raised in the Morranville district. Ray's journey through life was enriched by the love and support of his parents and his siblings, Donna (Len) Heilemann, Lois (Jim) Ross, Lee-Anne (Rick) Lyon and Burton (Darlene) Shewfelt, but his journey was also encumbered by battles. It was Ray's personal request that there shall be no funeral service. There shall be a family graveside service at a later date.
