VINCENT (VINNIE) DERKSEN It's hard to believe that one year ago, Our telephone rang and delivered a blow, A son, brother, uncle, husband, stepdad, grandpa and friend, A 41 year old life came to an abrupt end. Your heart gave you troubles and your mind became weak, You just weren't strong enough even though God you did seek. In your darkest moments, you know that we loved you and never gave up hope, That you'd find your way back and continue to cope. Even though your life may not have been exactly as it seemed, Before you left us, your soul was redeemed. So dear son, brother, uncle and friend, God Bless you and keep you until we see you again.
