Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROLAND JEAN JOSEPH OUELLETTE Born June 22, 1939 in St. Boniface MB. After a short but intense battle with cancer, and never losing his sense of humour, Roland passed away peacefully on December 2, 2011 at his home in Penticton, BC with family at his side. Roland grew up in Winnipeg, moving to Calgary in 1969 where he worked in the automobile industry for 20 years. In 1988 Roland moved to Vancouver where he lived until he retired in 2005. His retirement years were spent in Penticton. Roland is survived by his sister Ida May, (Joe), Kelowna, daughter Karen, Calgary, son Kevin (Shayne), White Rock, son Neil, Vancouver, daughter Coralie (August), New Jersey and five grandchildren. The family would like to thank Sandy and Terry Osler for their loving support over the past month. At Roland's request, a celebration of life will be held in Penticton June 22, 2012 in place of a service. Friends and family interested in attending the celebration can request details by emailing kouellette1@me.com. No flowers but donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
