CINDY EDMONDS November 27, 1960 December 7, 2011 After an amazing life, a positive inspiration to others and a wonderful woman, Cindy peacefully passed away at the St Boniface Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Cindy was predeceased by her mother Winnie. Left to cherish her memory, her father, Jim; darling daughter, Jessica; sister, Shirley (Jim); brothers, Kelly (Lorraine), Ron (Melanie) and Chris (Lee); also her many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and a wide circle of loving friends. Cindy has left behind her true love and companion, Garth Shaw, who shared many good times and gave her strength through her battle with cancer. To this day, he has never left her side. Cindy was a beautiful, kind, generous, and compassionate woman with an independent spirit that was the core of her strength. She had wonderful dry sense of humour that we all will miss. Cindy was a proud woman who loved her family and her friends and would do anything for them. No matter where she was or what was going on you could count on Cindy to ask what can I do? She had a love for the simple things in life; the love of her many animals, a visit with family, or a relaxing evening with a book to read in her gazebo. She truly was one-of-a-kind' and will be sadly missed. Our family would like to thank the staff of the fifth floor of the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit in the St Boniface Asper Institute, the Emergency staff, and her many doctors throughout her battles. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Westwood Community Church, 401 Westwood Drive. The family will welcome all who were touched by Cindy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to be held in trust for Cindy's daughter, Jessica. Cheques may be made payable to Mr. Kelly Edmonds at 390 Creek Bend Rd., R3X 1V9, Winnipeg Manitoba. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.mb.ca 885-9715

Had the good fortune to encounter Cindy on the job over my time with General Motors. What a positive upbeat personality. Sad to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family friends. - Posted by: Court (Friend) on: Dec 21, 2011
