Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN TOLCHINSKY Norman Tolchinsky passed away November 22, 2011 at the age of 84 with family by his side. He is survived by his wife Dolly, of 63 years, sons Mark (Carol), Sidney (Carol), grandchildren Rayna-Shea (Ben), Trina (Jason), Willow (Gareth), Jacob and great-grandson Landon, brother-in-laws Dave Singer, Howard Gerber and Norman Wolk (Bev) as well as countless family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Louis and Tzivia, brothers Joe, Sam, Fred, and sister Anne. Norman was born in Winnipeg where he lived his entire life. He left school to work in the family bakery. After the bakery closed, he delivered milk and then spent the rest of his career in the meat processing industry. He worked hard providing for his wife and sons. Norman and Dolly often travelled to Calgary to visit their son and family. In retirement, they spent many winters in Palm Springs and later in Victoria. His pride and joy were his grandchildren and great-grandson. Many thanks to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital M.I.C.U. for their exceptional care and compassion.
