ELIZABETH JOYCE HUNTTING Died at home after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, Liz (nee Kilgour) in her 71st year. She was born in Winnipeg on October 7, 1941, the eldest child of the late Dr. John M. Kilgour and Elizabeth (Betty) Mary Kilgour (nee Joyce). Beloved wife of Hugh C. Huntting, she is also survived by her cherished daughter Edith Margaret Bovey (nee Pease) (Gerald) and her adored granddaughter Jocelyne Elizabeth. Sister of Katharine Geills England (Rick Almont), John McCrae Kilgour and James Frederick Kilgour (Lynne). Liz spent almost 20 years as a classroom teacher in Hamilton and finished her career as the Administrative Assistant to Board Director of Education. Liz will also be mourned by her many dear friends whose love she so cherished. Thank you to Dr. Ivan Stewart, to the caring staff of St. Mary's of the Lake, the Regional Cancer Centre, Saint Elizabeth home support staff and the loving sisters of Providence. Family will receive friends for a Memorial Service at the Sisters of Providence, Mother House, Heathfield, Chapel of Mary Mother of Compassion, 1200 Princess Street, on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. In memory of Liz, donations to the Providence Spirituality Centre would be appreciated.
