Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOREEN EVELYN CHAMPAGNE January 24, 1933 - December 12, 2011 Peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends, Doreen went to meet her husband, best friend, Joseph. Doreen is survived by her four children, Kevin (Louise) Champagne, Brent (Colleen) Champagne, Kim (Bob) Wynnobel, Dean Champagne; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Doreen will also be greatly missed by her sister, Margaret Bohonos; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Doreen was most happiest at her home at Big Whiteshell Lake where she loved playing cards, sitting in the sun, knitting, sewing and entertaining her long time friend and husband (Elfreida and Ross). She loved telling her stories from years gone by since she arrived at the lake in 1953. The family would like to extend their many thanks to the staff and doctors of the East Wing Palliative Care Unit at Riverview Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Glenwood Community Centre at 27 Overton. In lieu of flowers please donate to CancerCare.
