ELIZABETH JEAN KARLOWSKY Elizabeth Jean (Bunty) Karlowsky (nee Reid) died peacefully at Devonshire Continuing Care in Edmonton on Wednesday, December 14, 2011. She was born March 18, 1925 in Harding, MB. Wife of the late Earl; mother to Wayne (Joan) grandchildren Jamie and Andrew; Stephen (Donna) grandchildren Megan, Caitlin and Matthew; Rodney (Lisa) granddaughter Lindsay and her mother Donna. Bunty and Earl resided in Winnipeg where they raised three sons, later moving to Gladstone, MB where they ran a successful business before retiring to Alberta to be close to family. She was a wonderful cook with an exotic flair, a crafter and tireless volunteer her entire adult life. Bunty loved to travel and socialize and will be missed by family, friends and former neighbours in Manitoba and Alberta. Our thanks to the staff of Devonshire Continuing Care. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park with her final resting place to follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
