Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOIS TOEWS Lois Toews passed away peacefully with her family by her side, without any pain, at Tuxedo Villa Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Mom was born on September 25, 1925 in Meota, SK. She was predeceased by her husband Jake in 1997, her son Dee Grapko (February, 2011) wife Debbie, sons Aaron and Jarett. Mom's surviving children are Dawn, Virginia, Wally, Vicky, Leona and Rick, plus five stepchildren, Ernie, Lena, Percy, Gladi, Grace, also six of her brothers and sisters. Also survived by her five brothers and sisters, Muriel, Bruce, Coleen, June and Linden. There are 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grand-children, four great-great-grandchildren, plus many nephews and nieces. Mom never complained even though her life was very difficult at times. She was a good woman and friend. She was quite a practical joker, we loved her sense of humour. She was the light of our lives . She had a great love for Jehovah God and His son Jesus. The scriptures talk about a Resurrection which means a bringing back to life. With Jehovah's wisdom and power, his original purpose for the earth will be accomplished for all people. Through God's Kingdom, death and suffering on the earth will be removed. Read Isaiah 25:8. Special love to Station 1 and to all who cared for her with kindness and compassion. Memorial will be held Monday, December 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Strathcona Congregation (west side) at 1060 Wolever Ave.
