DON HUTCHINSON On December 14, 2011, Don our beloved husband and father past away suddenly at home at the age of 57. Don will be remembered by his loving wife of 33 years Lucy, son Brad, daughter Lisa (Gerard), brother-in-law Don Jackson (Lorraine), sisters-in-law Donna Hutchinson, and Donna Jackson. He has now joined his parents Mary, Frank and brother Tom in spirit. Don grew up in Weston. He cherished the time spent at Lac Lu with family and friends. His athleticism lead him to track, baseball and his passion hockey, where he coached for 30 plus years in a variety of levels. As well, Don enjoyed a lifelong career as an artist in the Graphic Design Industry. He took the time to make countless trips exploring the world with his wonderful wife Lucy. A celebration of Don's life will be held on December 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. on the main floor at the Assiniboia Downs, 3979 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to KidSport Canada Manitoba, 145 Pacific Avenue, Winnipeg MB R3B 2Z6, or to a charity of one's choice.   • Our hearts are heavy today after hearing the news of Don's passing last night (Jan 15). Lucy, we are so shocked and saddened by the news. I can still hear Don's booming laugh in my kitchen during hockey parent parties! Don coached our kids with enthusiasm and integrity always having their best interests in mind on and off the ice.   • Don was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. Our short time coaching hockey together made me realize how devoted he was to this craft and how he always put the players first and he made it enjoyable for everyone involved.
