She also leaves 13 great-grandchildren. Mom is also survived by her sister, Anne Lariviere, and brothers Morris (Corrine) and William (Brenda) Rysiew, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Don and June Lang. Mom's greatest joy in life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved them all dearly as they brought her great joy to her life and her to theirs. Mom worked at the Lincoln Hotel Restaurant for over 30 years and made many lifelong friends. Mom was an active member of the St. Joseph's C.W.L. (51 years). Mom was a Brownie and Girl Guide leader to many children including her daughters. Mom was a lover of poetry, classical music, crossword puzzles, books and especially travel, visiting many places throughout the world with her mother, sister and niece. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews Street (at Mountain Ave.) on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Fr. Kevin J. Smith officiating. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mom's eight grandsons. The family wishes to thank all the wonderful staff from 3E, Palliative Care, Riverview Health Centre for making her last weeks comfortable and dignified. A very special thanks to Jim and Tom who were her closest companions. To all the wonderful Homecare workers over the last five years we are very grateful for all you've done. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to the Riverview Palliative Care Unit or Rossbrook House. For Grandma My life so rich My family so strong What more could I ask, now that I've gone. I lived, I breathed I played, I laughed I loved, I lost It's my turn at last. I'm still here, but gone. Keep my memories tight. Goodbye my dear family I'll sleep, it's alright. 586-8044
