MYRNA ALICE EARLE It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Myrna Alice Earle on Sunday, December, 18, 2011, at the age of 68 years, after a lengthy and courageous battle with Cortical Basal Ganglion Degeneration. Myrna leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband of 47 years, Don Earle, son Brent (Lesley), daughter Janice (Perry), four grandchildren, Taylor and Dylan Earle, Brittany and Braeden Beernaerts. Also left to mourn are her siblings, Shirley (Frank) Ennis, Audrey (Ray) Boux and Larry Henry, her mother-in-law Ileen Earle and brothers-in-law, Ray (Judy) Earle, Keith (Cathy) Earle and Bob (Lynne) Earle. Myrna also leaves to mourn her special friend Dianne Timmerman, as well as numerous cousins that were more like brothers and sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, and many close friends. Myrna was predeceased by her parents Frank and Elsie Henry, her father-in-law Bill Earle and grandparents Sam and Laura Henry. Myrna was born in Lavenham on March 18, 1943. She was a country girl through and through; she had a great love for horses, which we're told was what had attracted her to her future husband. She also had a love and great talent for music which she thankfully passed on to her children. She will be forever remembered singing on stage with the Continentals. In 1972 Myrna, along with her husband, ventured into the family business, Earle's Transfer, where she dispatched and kept track of the books up until 2001, when she handed the reins over and began to enjoy her retirement. Myrna will be greatly missed not only by her family but her camping crew. Myrna's greatest love besides her family was camping. She was happiest when packing that camper and getting it ready for Don to hook up and get away. She had such pride for her truck and trailer; you would often see her washing and polishing her truck as Don would say. Myrna fought a hard battle against breast cancer in 1988, and just couldn't win this last battle she came up against. She accepted her fate with class and strength that will be forever admired by those who were closest to her. It hurts my heart To see you cry I know it's dark This part of life Oh it finds us all And we're too small To stop the rain Oh but when it rains. I will stand by you I will help you through When you've done all you can do And you can't cope I will dry your eyes I will fight your fight I will hold you tight. We were so blessed to have this wonderful woman in our lives and we will be celebrating Myrna's life at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Treherne United Church with Sandra Rex officiating. Following the service a reception will held in the Treherne Community Hall. A private family burial will take place in the spring in the Rosendale Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations may be made in Myrna's memory to Tiger Hills Personal Care Home, Box 130, Treherne, MB R0G 2V0 or to a charity of one's choice. Online condolences can be made by visiting www.willmorchapel.com Jamieson's - Budz Funeral Service of Holland, MB in care of arrangements. (204)526-2380
