Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE YURKIEWICH Peacefully following a lengthy illness it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine, with her family by her side, on December 17, 2011. Catherine will be lovingly remembered by her children: Lorne (Jackie) and Donna (Lloyd); grandchildren: Bill (Michelle), Shawn (Cheri), Jeff (Amanda) and Jason (Letitia); great-grandchildren: Denon, Haley, Jaron; brothers: William and Paul (Anne), as well as nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her dear friend Yvonne. Catherine was predeceased by her loving husband William; daughter Darlene; father Steven; mother Rose, and brothers Mike, John and George. She was born in Fort William, Ontario in 1924 and met her husband in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. They moved to Winnipeg where she raised her family with love and was always there for them. She had a great sense of humour and though she has left us she will always be remembered in our hearts. Mom and Dad are now together again. Cremation has taken place and a family service was held.
