Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySERAFINO DI MARCO On December 21, 2011 Serafino Di Marco peacefully passed away with his beloved wife and family by his side. Serafino was born on January 23, 1920 in Cellino Attenasio, Italy. He is predeceased by his parents, Carmine and Anna Domenica, siblings Concezio, Antonio, Romualdo, Domenica and Cristina. He is survived by his loving wife, Filomena, brothers Gabriele (Maria), Giustino (Cecilia), Fiorangelo (Denata), and sister Filomena. Serafino, lovingly known as Tatuch, will be sadly missed by his children: Assunta (Mario), Gina (Luciano), Carmine (Olga), Giuliano, Fernando (Laura); grandchildren: Domenico (Sabrina), Laura (Riccardo), Marco, Mario (Nella), Dino, Rina, Serafino (Catherine), Sabrina, Julian, Adrienne, Natalie and William as well as six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Serafino was a loving husband, great father and cherished grandfather. Serafino was a passionate veteran of the Second World War. He married Filomena on December 1, 1946 and together with their children moved to Canada in 1967. After working construction, Serafino enjoyed his retired years gardening, wine making, hunting and spending time with his family. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 24 at Holy Rosary Parish Church, 510 River Avenue with Father Sam Argenziano presiding. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be at Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley Street. A special thank you to Father Sam and all the staff at Tuxedo Villa Extendicare. I did not know Serafino personally but I worked with his wife for many years at West Park Manor. She is a wonderful warm friendly loving woman, I also knew his his son Fernando in my Junior high school days. My condolences go to the family in their time of sorrow.
