ANNE DUBICKYJ August 12, 1923 - December 21, 2011 With heartfelt sadness, the family announces the sudden passing of Anne, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, at St. Joseph's Residence. Anne was born in Sarto, Manitoba. Married May 17, 1952, Anne leaves to mourn her husband Iwan; children, Mary (Wally) and Leon; grandchildren, Tyler, Derek and Ryan; sisters, Nettie Yakimovich, Doris Milian and Helen Tomchuk and many family and friends. Anne was predeceased by her parents, Harry Filler and Ksenia (Swynar) Filler; and sister Mary Tanchuk. Anne was a dedicated member of St. Andrew's Ukrainian Catholic Church and joined the Women's League, volunteered at Holy Family Home, and was a member of the Main Street Senior's Centre. She fondly loved her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and other interests. We gratefully acknowledge the kindness and compassion shown by the staff of St. Joseph's Residence. Father Ratushniak will officiate. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, December 27 at 8:00 p.m. and Divine Liturgy on Wednesday, December 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 160 Euclid Avenue. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery. With gratitude we decline flowers for a donation to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or charity of choice.
