FRANK JOWETT After a lengthy illness Frank passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011. He will be sadly missed by his son Darren, grandsons Matthew and Adam, brothers Harold (Margaret) and Edward (Marcia), sisters-in-law Vicki Jowett and Eleanora Moore, and many nieces, nephews, cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, his eldest brother Russell, his wife Barbara and their son Glenn. He also leaves to mourn him his dedicated caregivers Bonny, John, Lacey, Cagney, Michelle, Paisley and Piper and also his best friend Kibbles. Frank was born in Winnipeg in 1931 and did many jobs but fixing machinery was his love. He worked at Standard Machine for many years and then Mid-West Diesel. He was devoted to his family and spent many hours ensuring Darren had a good life from backyard bonfires to weekend trips to the Oasis Beach. They also had many happy times with their young grandsons. In 1998 the death of his oldest son Glenn left Frank heartbroken. Frank faced numerous medical and personal challenges in the past few years with his quiet, loving nature. We will miss him deeply but we accept God's will and thank Him that He freed Frank from his pain and suffering. A memorial service was held on December 20. Interment was at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.mb.ca 885-9715

I lived next door on Parker Avenue, when I was young. I used to babysit Darren for Barbara and Frank. I also knew Glenn very well. They were a wonderful family.I use to go visit Parker Avenue, later in life and would always stop and say Hi. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Thank-you, Debbie Stockburn Thoughts and prayers - Posted by: Debbie Stockburn (next door neigbours) on: Dec 28, 2011
