Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY ALLAN MACDONALD Peacefully at Convalescent Home on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, Henry Allan MacDonald passed away in his 84th year. Born in Melville, Saskatchewan, Al was a retired railroader who loved his career with the CNR. Al was predeceased by his wife Flavie, his parents, George Henry and Hannah MacDonald, and his brothers Russell and Les. Al is survived by his sister, Ruth Young, and his brother-in-law Earl, his sister-in-law Carole MacDonald, his nephew Don Young, and his wife Gloria, his niece Joanne Finnerty, and her husband Mike, and his special friend Irene Dean. Al will be sadly missed by his extended family and his friends in the Grant Park community, and Melville. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful care-givers at Grace Hospital, Poseidon Care Centre and Convalescent Home. We are very grateful. Cremation has taken place. Al will take a final trip to his resting place in the family plot in the Melville Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society of Canada on Al's behalf. Al was a good stepfather and loving Husband to my Mother Flavie who passed away Oct.11th./1971. I have been trying to contact him for many years. So I thought I would check the obituaries and found him. He will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Irene Gauthier (Step - Daughter) on: Jul 25, 2013
