Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE DORSEY On December 20, Florence departed from this life in the peaceful surrounding of The Convalescent Home . In spite of increased health issues, Florence was better able to cope because of the caring support provided by the staff at the home. Gratitude is extended not only to the staff, but also to the close friends who provided ongoing support. At her recent 90 birthday, relatives and friends gathered to celebrate this memorable event! Florence will be missed by her son Terry who was at her bedside at the time of passing, daughter Maxine, grandsons Brett, Reid and their mother Paula, ever caring niece Thelmarie, longtime friends Alice, hairstylist Gayel, and many more nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by husband Doug in 2006. A memorial service will be held (tomorrow) Sunday, January 15, at 1:00 p.m. at The Silver Heights Restaurant.
