RONALD (RON) JOSEPH LECLAIR Ronald Leclair of Picture Butte, passed at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the age of 60 years. He is remembered by Yves (Marcella) Leclair of Picture Butte, Denis (Cheryl) Leclair of Picture Butte, Celeste (John) Zeinstra of Lethbridge, Gilles (Marie) Leclair of Lethbridge and Brenda Leclair of Callingwood, ON, as well as eight nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and close friends Bryan, Rudy and Steve. He was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Ida Leclair and one nephew. Ron was born January 8, 1951 and was raised in Letellier, where he completed his elementary schooling. He then attended school at College de Saint-Boniface in Winnipeg, MB. Ron moved with his family to Picture Butte in 1971, where he worked in the family business, Butte Hotel. Later on he bought a hotel in Milo, AB which he owned for eight years. After selling his business he semi retired to Picture Butte, where he continued to enjoy hockey, carpentry, fishing, gardening, socializing with his friends and in his later years motorcycling. Ron will be remembered for his generous spirit and good natured personality who liked a good discussion. The family wishes to acknowledge the numerous calls received from all his Manitoba family and friends. Ron greatly appreciated them prior to his passing. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, 762 Crescent Avenue North, Picture Butte, on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Ray Wagner officiating. Interment to follow the reception. In memory of Ron, donations may be made to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre, 960-19 Street Lethbridge, AB T1J 1W5.
