LLOYD JOSEPH IRWIN Passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre, Winnipeg, MB, on Thursday, December 29, 2011, at the age of 91 years, Lloyd Joseph Irwin of Winnipeg, formerly of Belmont, MB. Lloyd is survived by his son, Chris (Katherine) of Belmont; his only grandson Robbie (Pam) and by his great-granddaughters, Sarah and Emma, all of Edmonton Alta; as well as his sister, Iva Shaw of Killarney, MB. Funeral Service will be held in the Knox United Church, Belmont, on Wednesday January 4, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. with Phyllis Mulligan officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Belmont. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Lloyd's memory to the Strathcona Historical Society (Museum), c/o Helen Delorme, Belmont, MB, R0K 0C0. The family would like to thank Deer Lodge management, Nursing and Support Staff of 2 West, 2 South, Tower 6 for making his stay a memorable one, full of happiness and a sense of belonging over the past nine years. Also 3 East, special thanks to the management, nursing and support staff, for making his final days comfortable and pain free.
