NADA BOGUT Suddenly on December 29, 2011, at home, Nada Bogut beloved sister, aunt and cousin, passed away at the age of 57 years. She leaves to mourn her passing: nephew Ivan Bogut, sister Vera (Mike), brother Valentino (Bozena), nephews Sage and Dustin, cousins Ivan (Dusanka), Renato (Lisa) and Samantha; in Croatia sister-in-law Jelka, niece Tonka (Ivan) and children Ivana and Toni, nephew Josip (Vesna) and son Ante; in Slovenia sister-in-law Mande (Dusan) and children Marjan and Majda, as well as many other family members in Croatia. Nada was predeceased by her husband Ivan and her parents Pavel and Janja. Nada came to Canada with her parents and settled in Winnipeg. There she found her true love Ivan Bogut and they married. Nada and Ivan were well respected in the local Croatian community. Nada loved to entertain guests serving them her homemade cooking. She worked hard at her hair salon, and had many loyal customers. Without the support of her nephew Ivan Bogut, after the sudden death of her husband, Nada would not have been able to enjoy life the way she did. Ivan dedicated his time over the years to make sure Nada was cared for and comfortable. She will be missed by her close friends and all who knew her. To honour Nada's last wishes, there will be a private family gathering. 586-8044

I have known and admired Nada over all these years of being in her shop. We shared so many stories of each of our lives--through health issues, deaths, disappointments, holidays , etc. I will miss her dearly. No one could cut my hair as perfectly as Nada. I also want to say I am sorry to her entire family but also her friend Natalie who worked daily in her shop. We will ALL miss her but I think it will be very hard on Natalie & Ivan--those closest to her on a regular basis. May God help each of you through this terrible time. Our hearts reach out to each of you. Sincerely, Linda - Posted by: Linda Bell (Customer for over 20 years) on: Feb 05, 2012

We are very saddened to hear about Nada's passing. We were her clients for many years...30 years. Not only was she a great hair stylist...she was a wonderful person and friend. She would always greet us with her beautiful smile as we walked into her salon, offer us coffee, tea and cookies...as well as the candies placed at the front. Followed by great conversations... Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Nada's family and friends. You will be truly missed Nada... - Posted by: Myrna, Carlos & Carla (Client & Friend) on: Jan 17, 2012

Words cannot express the sadness I feel and the sense of loss on Nada's passing. I have known Nada for many years and throughout these years and our encounters she was always very pleasant and caring. I know how deeply sad she was at the loss of her Ivan 7 years ago; now she has joined him to spend eternity together. May she rest in peace and smile upon us until we meet again. To Vera, Valentino and all of Nada's family, my deepest sympathies on your loss and may you find solace in knowing that she is at peace now. One of the nicest people I've ever met. Nada's smile; So beautiful.I will miss our conversations; Nada had a way of making you feel special. She had a great insight about life. You went to her shop and came out feeling and looking like a new person. She did my hair for my wedding this past summer and when I came to pay she would not accept any money. She will be sadly missed. Bye Nada, thanks for all the years. Joan - Posted by: Joan Ringland (Friend & Customer) on: Jan 03, 2012
