IDA MAY KING (nee FITZSIMMONS) October 20, 1923 - December 29, 2011 In loving memory of our mother, grandmother and great-gramma. Ida was a kind, fun loving, young spirited person who made all of us feel loved because of her generosity, patience and thoughtfulness. She was born 1923 in Colonsay, SK the oldest of seven children born to Nathaniel and Elizabeth Fitzsimmons. Having lived in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta, Ida loved the prairie sunshine and the big, open spaces. She loved to visit and celebrate with her family. You could always count on getting a treat from Gramma after a day of shopping. Ida was predeceased by her husband Stewart King, sister Margaret and daughter Marilyn King. Lovingly remembered by her children Wayne (Georgette), Linda (Darryl), grandchildren Nadine (Todd), Gabriel, Louis, Jessica, Marnie (Brad), Joel (Brittany) and seven great-grandchildren. Her sisters Bertha, Irene, Shirley, brothers Fred and Bill. It was Ida's wish to have a gathering of friends and family in the summer to celebrate her life.
