LAWRENCE STANLEY COEY 1936 - 2012 With his family by his side, Lawrence passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at St. Boniface Hospital. Lawrence will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Fern, children, Carolyn Coey-Simpson (Charlie), Kenton (Debbie), Carla Hrycyna (Tim), Karie Bright (Ken), grandchildren, Cameron, Maureen, Jennifer, Brett, Amanda, Alex, Sarah, and Dene, sister, Doreen Gusdal (Al) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Archy and Mary Coey. He worked for over thirty years at Manitoba Telephone System. He was proud to be married for 54 years to Fern. It was evident his grandchildren were his pride and joy. Lawrence had a passion for hockey and growing trees. At Lawrence's request, there will be no formal service. Donations may be made in his memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family wishes to thank the Emergency Department and 6E of St. Boniface Hospital for their care and kindness.
