A celebration of Lucienne's life will be officiated by Father Antoine Vo Van Hoa at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at St. Pierre-Jolys Catholic Church in St. Pierre, MB. LUCIENNE MARIE MELLOR (nee NAULT) December 29, 1927- January 3, 2012 On Tuesday, January 3, 2012 Lucienne passed away peacefully at the DeSalaberry District Health Centre in St. Pierre-Jolys, MB at the age of 84 years. Lucienne was predeceased in 1991 by her husband William. Lucienne will be sadly missed by her seven children, Donat (Elaine) Mellor, Gracia (Philippe) Cormier, Ronald (Monica) Mellor, Marlyne Mellor (Camille Nault), Normand (Doris) Mellor, Bernard Mellor (Audrey), Nicole (Rainer) Bratzke, as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lucienne leaves behind her sister Anita Evanchow and her brother William (Jeanne) Nault as well as Noella Hebert and Huguette Heukeroth. Lucienne is predeceased by son-in-law Robert Berard, grandson Jeremy Mellor and granddaughter Kristen Carriere. Mom was raised in St. Pierre-Jolys and married Bill in October 1949. Mom worked many years at the hospital and repos Jolys in St Pierre. Family was sacred to mom, she was a loving, caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Each and every grandchild held a very special place in Memere's heart. Memere (la tanante), nous allons manquer tes bonnes baignes croches, tes tartes aux pommes et s'endormir dans tes bras, bercant a La p'tite poule grise. Au revoir maman, merci pour tout ce que vous avec fait pour nous. A celebration of Lucienne's life will be officiated by Father Antoine Vo Van Hoa at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at St. Pierre-Jolys Catholic Church in St. Pierre, MB. The family would like to extend our at most gratitude to Dr.Rivi, and All the staff at the St. Pierre hospital for their kind and compassionate care during mom's time there. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lucienne's memory the Palliative Care unit at the DeSalaberry District Health Centre in St. Pierre. Memere je te manque toujours...Je t'aime beaucoup. I will cherish those days we spent together for the rest of my life. Les beignes croches...they will live on forever!!
