  • I met Michael 14 yrs ago delivering car parts to his garage that he ran out of his home on Lipton. We had a bit of a rough start as he was not all that talkative. I though, being the social butterfly that I am, didn't make us becoming friends an option, haha. We have remained friends since. He has been wonderful to myself and my family, always offering to support my arm wrestling, help my daughter with her car repairs, and most recently supporting my sons hockey and giving him a $5/per goal incentive. When I stopped in for service or just because we never had any shortage of stuff to chat about, from cars to kids to parents and grandparents, boats, cabins, music, dogs, and most recently his beloved Buells. After all the Harley stuff I brought him.......lol Our conversations always led back to family, whether it be Elizabeth and Lawrence or my kids and the recent loss of my grandma. He loved his family, and his "extended" families too. He was a very kind soul, rough to those that didn't know him, but kind and loving to those who did. I will always remember the time I was fortunate enough to spend with Mike, and thank him for that :) Take care, I love you my friend, will think of you often, see you again. xoxo Your friend always, Ellen - Posted by: Ellen Bordas (friend) on: Jan 07, 2012
