Judy was my best friend when she lived in the West End of Winnipeg. We were born six months and five houses apart and were close until her family moved to Westwood after grade 6. I have wonderful memories of playing at her house, which had an attic, a back porch and a climbing tree in the backyard - a kid’s paradise. I remember playing house in her back porch as kids, reading her 16 Magazines in her attic and dancing in front of the big mirror at my house as pre-teens. After her family moved, we gradually drifted apart. Eventually Judy moved to Calgary and I went to teach in SE Asia and we lost contact. It is with great sadness that I recently discovered Judy’s passing while doing a web search. Though distance and years have separated us, I will always remember you Judy. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family. - Posted by: Janet Anderson (friend) on: Apr 23, 2015
