JUDY LYNN JASSON (nee KEMPA) December 21, 1959 January 6, 2012 It is with great sadness we say farewell to Judy. After a long, hard battle with clear cell ovarian cancer, she passed away peacefully with her husband and sister at her side, at home, on January 6, 2012. Judy was born and grew up in Winnipeg (Westwood). She graduated from the University of Manitoba (Bachelor of Commerce) in 1982, and moved to Calgary. Here she pursued a career with CIBC and as a crude oil scheduler at A.P.M.C. and Husky. In recent years she continued her career with Keywest Engineering and Keywest Projects, companies started with her husband, Perry. Judy will be lovingly remembered by Perry, her husband of 26 years; as well as by her family in Winnipeg, mother, Stephanie; sister, Sharon (Rick); brothers-in-law, Tim, Bruce and Michael; aunt Tillie, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephew, and friends across the country. She was predeceased by her beloved dad, Peter Kempa, in 1993. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at the Tom Baker Centre. Thank you also to AHS Home Care and Revera Home Care, for it was with their help that Judy was able to fulfill her desire to be at home surrounded by the people and things she loved. We wish to acknowledge and thank family and many friends, near and far, for their help, love, encouragement, and endless hope for a cure.
