Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSIE LUCETTA WESTMAN November 4, 1915 - January 4, 2012 It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Elsie Lucetta Westman, beloved widow of Elliott (Wes) Westman, a perfect soul, a sister, an aunt, a cousin and a friend, on January 4, 2012. Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Elliott (Wes) Westman; parents, George and Jessie Pasmore; sister Bertha Pasmore; brother Irvin Pasmore; niece Melanie Pasmore; and brother-in-law, Bill Empey. She is also survived by her sister Edna Empey; sister-in-law Joyce Pasmore; nephew Peter Pasmore, his wife Becky and their children and grandchildren; niece Meg-Anne Till and her family; nephew Mark Westman and his wife Inez; cousin Gordon Taylor; as well as several members of the Taylor and Sproule families; and numerous, wonderful friends. Elsie worked for the T. Eaton Co. and for Ogilvies for many years, and after retiring she volunteered her time to help the residents at the Fred Douglas Lodge. She loved to swim and to go bowling with her friends and was an active member of the seniors club in her apartment complex. A memorial service will be held at Churchill Park United Church, 525 Beresford Avenue, on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Janet Walker will preside. The family wishes to extent its heartfelt thanks to the staff and management of the Vista Park Lodge for all their kindness and attention to Elsie's needs over the past 14 months. In lieu of flowers, Elsie had asked that friends and family make a donation to the Arthritis Society or the charity of their choice.
