Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELLIE (STACEY) GRABOWECKY (nee SCRABA) August 1, 1919 - January 6, 2012 Peacefully, on Friday, January 6 at Oakview Place, Nellie Grabowecky passed away. She is survived by her children, Leslie (Lloyd), Dianne (Charles), Rick (Cindy), and Sonja (Derek); her grandchildren, Susan, Samantha (Cory), Chad (Megan), Laura (Lyle), Lisa (Gordon), Jordan (Staci) and Brianne; her great-grandchildren Max, Stella, Nadia and Oliver; and her sisters, Ollie and Jean. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry, her sister Margie, her niece Vera and her parents. Mom loved gardening, dancing and cooking. She made the best perogies in the North End. Mom called everyone sweetheart but in reality she was the sweetheart who put everyone ahead of herself. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Oakview Place for their care and kindness over the past few years. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice. 586-8044
