From this day on we all celebrate the life of uncle Clarence I would like to share my thoughts and give thanks for all that uncle Clarence and aunt Lil did for me in the youngest years of my life. You took my sister and me in when we needed a place to go in the most troubling times of our lives and made us part of your already crowded home, I think we were the original Brady Bunch. The memories of us going on fishing trips and being the loudest boat on the lake, well we usually also caught the most fish as well. Never knowing that 15 years later I would be going out to those lakes and I would always take the lead, because as a young kid I learned from my Dad and uncle Clarence where the boat was going to get hung up and just how far you could go on a tank of gas before you would run out! There is never a Hockey Night in Canada game that goes by in my life and if you ever watched a Saturday game with uncle Clarence you know that if you listen you will still hear him for ever more! Buddy I know you are in a place with no pain and surrounded by all that you have missed for a long time. Please say hi and give all a hug from me! Again I thank you Uncle Clarence for being in my life and giving me a lot of the life tools as a young boy to survive in this world we call life! Clarence was special! We think of all the goodness that he achieved in his lifetime and our sadness can be tempered by the knowledge that the ship has returned safely to its homeport. - Posted by: Colleen Brodkin (niece) on: Jan 15, 2012

Sorry for your loss. I will really miss him. I couldn't have survived my father's death without him. It is sad to think I will never hear him say "I love you" again. I am glad that we spoke a couple of weeks ago and he was so happy to be going to his children's for Christmas. He lived until the end, and for that I am grateful. At least I know you have family and a friend to meet you. Love you and miss you! - Posted by: Brenda Lombaert (Friend - Elmer's Daughter) on: Jan 13, 2012
