ANNE DANISH It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother on January 9, 2012. Anne was born on November 8, 1924 to Ksenia and Hryan Marykuca. Anne went to school in Poplarfield and Teulon. She attended Normal School and went to teach in Kilkenny, MB where she met Alex Danish whom she married in 1944. In 1946 they established a trucking business in Broad Valley, MB. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her seven children Shirley (Joe), Lil, Donald (Janet), Jim, Ken (Debbie), Donna (Rod) and Angie (Terry); 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by Alex in 1995; son-in-law Al in 2009; brothers Michael, Peter, Steve, Bill and Walter. The family would like to thank Home Care workers and staff at the Fisher Branch Chalet and Fisher Personal Care Home, Dr. Ismail, the nurses Darcy, Cheryl and Wanda at the Percy E. Moore Hospital. A very special thank you to daughter-in-law Debbie for always being there for Mom. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Fisher Branch, MB In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fisher Personal Care Home Foundation Inc. at Box 548, Fisher Branch, MB R0C 0Z0.
