Bruce always had time to talk to me on the Beach, I too love metal-detecting and many times I was up at 4:30 in the morning trying to beat Bruce down to the beach but no matter how hard I tried, Bruce was always there first. We became metal-detecting friends and I will miss him greatly, he always talked to me about his daughter and seemed very proud of her. I am so sorry for your loss and pray that there is a metal-detecting heaven and a beach to comb. Summers won't be the same without you - Posted by: Marlene Swickis (Friend) on: Jan 31, 2012

Bruce, you were a kind and friendly neighbour and we will miss your presence greatly at Grand Beach. It's very hard to imagine going up there and not seeing you and your car with BR on the licence plate. You will be missed! - Posted by: Delaine and Russell Manary (friend and neighbour at Grand Beach) on: Jan 17, 2012
