Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA (MARY) HARZ (nee HUTH) On January 13, 2012, our beloved mother and Oma passed away at St. Pierre Personal Care Home at the age of 86. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Leo. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lottie (Wayne), Ernie (Carrie-Lynn), Caren (Garry) and Herb (Joy); her grandchildren, Greg (Joanne), Gary (Jennifer), Anders (Marla), Tyler (Sarah), Kristy, Brendan (Jaydee), Leah and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Grayson, Jenna, Jillian, Jaelyn, Griffin, Anya, Miles, Logan and Kashten. Mom was born June 10, 1925, in Mikulsdorf, Poland, immigrating to Winnipeg in 1951. It was her determination to make a good life for her family in their new country that gave her the strength and courage to go on. Her family was her ultimate joy and she cherished the days when the family gathered and she could spend time with the grandchildren. Mom was a very caring individual, asked little from life and gave all in return. Mom/Oma, we love and will miss you so very much. May God bless you and reunite you with your loved ones who were parted so long ago. Mom and Dad are together again. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba. Memorial service will take place on Wednesday, January 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Pierre Personal Care Home for their excellent care. A special thank you to the staff at the Niverville Credit Union Manor.

Mary, you were the other half of the team, partnered together with Leo, to work so hard in your lives together. I remember you working on your flowers, Leo in the garage, good, honest and loving. The only time I ever saw you get mad was when "Booby" would misbehave:) I so much enjoyed running into you during my travels.
