ETIENNE LEMOINE 1923 - 2012 Peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2012, Etienne passed away with his children by his side at the age of 88. Etienne was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lucille; his parents, Adolphe and Ida; his brother, Marius; grandson Chris; sister-in-law Angeline and brother-in-law Albert. He will be forever missed by his children. Armand (Suzanne), Gilbert (Gail), Roger (Donna), his baby girl, Carole (Pete) and Donald (Kim). He leaves his precious grandchildren, Adam, Michelle, Rachel (Blair), Philip (Casey), Chantelle (Denis), Meaghan (James), Cam (Lise), Richard, Rayanne, Cory, Jennifer (Rod), Tegan and Kaymin and his great-grandchildren Kaylah, Haylee, Carmen, Makayla, Carter, Chace and Carter Joseph. He also leaves to mourn his cherished brothers and sisters Paul; Soeur Maguerite SNJM; Rachel; Joseph (Claudette). Etienne was born September 29, 1923, in St. Agathe, MB, and spent many years working on the Lemoine family farm. In 1954, at the age of 30 he met and married his one and only love, Lucille Simard. Etienne enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His children have fond memories of weekends spent at Simard campsites, laughing and singing with their parents, aunts, uncles and cousins. In 1993, Etienne took the trip of his lifetime, spending six months in Australia with his eldest son Armand. Etienne (TI-KEN) will always be remembered for his big smile, his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Roman Catholic Church in Lorette, MB. Interment will follow in the Lorette Parish Cemetery immediately following the mass. La famille d'Etiennes aimerait remercier Dr. Lemoine et le personnel au Ste- Anne, Youville de Villa pour leur soin compatissant et Soeur Rioux pour sa foi et sa bienveillance. Les arrangements faits par: Les Obsèques de Pelouse de Glen Entretiennent. Pallbearers will be Philip Lemoine, Cory Pelletier, Richard Lemoine, Rod Marks, Denis Trudeau, Cam O'Neill and honorary pallbearer Kaymin Lemoine. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. In the hearts of those who loved you, your spirit will live on and on.
