HOLLY MILLS (nee LAKER) Passed away at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, Monday, January 16, 2012, at the age of 61 years, after a courageous but short battle with cancer. Holly is survived by her two brothers, Colin (Wendy) and Craig (Jill) as well as her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle and cousins. She will also be remembered by the congregation of the Parkminster United Church in Waterloo, the Immanuel United Church in Winnipeg and all of her friends including those who worked alongside of Holly at Manulife Financial. She was predeceased by her father, Ernie (1979) and mother, Thelma (2011). A memorial service will be held at Parkminster United Church, 275 Erb Street, East Waterloo, ON on Saturday, January 21 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Keith Hagerman officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Holly's family is very grateful to all her friends who supported her through life, especially during these past few difficult months. Thank you to the nurses, staff and doctors of Juravinski Hospital. A special thank you goes out to her good friends Brenda Black and husband Dave for their tireless support and for being there when Holly needed them most.
