PETER HOWARD ROY DICK On Wednesday, January 18, 2012, after a lengthy illness and with tremendous courage, Peter Howard Roy Dick, aged 79 years, passed away peacefully at the Altona Community Memorial Health Centre. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife and dearest friend, Arlene; his two daughters, Kim (Roy) and Tammy (Barry); grandchildren, Chris, Jeremy, Andrew, Mitchell (Taylor) and Joey; sister Carol and brother Earl (Patty). He also leaves to cherish his memory, many nephews, nieces and dear friends. Roy was born in Altona, Manitoba on March 6, 1932. Among Roy's greatest accomplishments was his lifetime work in managing the family business as the President and General Manager of the Ford Dealership, Rhineland Car Co. Ltd. for over 55 years. Nothing made Roy more proud than his very special relationship with his beloved grandsons. He attended their many hockey and baseball games, various school activities and showered them with his grandfatherly advice. A celebration of Roy's life will take place on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the E.M.M. Church, 158 2nd Street N.E., Altona, Manitoba. Flowers gratefully declined.
