CECILIA KELING Peacefully on January 19, 2012 at Meadowood Manor, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Cecilia Keling, passed away at age 92. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years, Frank, daughter Ursula (Wally), son Richard (Debbie), and four grandchildren, Michael, Catherine, Michelle and Lisa. Mama was born in Poland on November 17, 1919, the youngest of seven children. After the Second World War, she met Dad and they were married in August, 1945. They immigrated to Canada in 1948, and settled in Winnipeg. Mama was a caring and loving person, always thinking of others before herself. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She worked hard alongside Dad to make a better life for their family. Family meant everything to Mama, and her unconditional love and support will always be remembered. Mama's unwavering faith saw her through many difficult challenges throughout her life. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Meadowood Manor for their excellent care and support. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg. Interment will follow in the Holy Ghost Cemetery.
