I met Cis not long after she was in Riverview Centre. I had been volunteering there when we met. We soon came to be good friends. Afterwards I followed her to Beacon Hill and then to Concordia Place. Sometimes I would cheer her up by giving her big hugs and other times she just listened to me and helped me feel good. We had lots of laughs and a few tears. I am very glad I got to know her and will dearly miss her. My thoughts are that she is watching over all of us. Muchly missed - Posted by: Sylvia Penner (friend) on: Jan 23, 2012

Cecelia was a remarkable lady. A person of such kindness, thoughtfulness and a very good friend. She put so much joy into my daily routine at Concordia Place. You were always willing to listen and have given me many life learning lessons. Thank you for your knowledge and the laughter that went with it. Words cannot express how much I will miss her. You will be in my heart forever. - Posted by: Sheila Hawkes (friend, staff at Concordia Place) on: Jan 23, 2012

Cecelia was a great lover of lilies, and was instrumental in providing guidance and money towards the lily garden at Concordia Place. She also purchased Spring bulbs which were planted in October 2011 by a volunteer, we will be looking forward to seeing them in the Spring. Her spirit will always be with us. She will be greatly missed by the staff and volunteers at Concordia Place - Posted by: Erica Hastie (caregiver/Volunteer Supervisor) on: Jan 23, 2012
