Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH JAMES LEE CARIBOU October 3, 1984 - January 17, 2012 It is with deep sadness we announce that the Great Spirit appointed the death of Billy Kenneth James Lee Caribou on January 17, 2012 at the age of 27 years. Billy was a name given by his grandfather Jeremie. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Billy was an excelled welding student and a carpenter by trade. Billy enjoyed nine precious years with Ashley Dawn Hart and their three daughters and two sons. Billy was a loving, honorable family man. He enjoyed outings and shopping with Ashley and his children. Billy expressed his thoughts and experiences through poetry and lyrics and enjoyed numerous friends and relatives with whom he shared his interests and work. Survivors include children: Amber Lynn Hart, Jaylene Dawn Hart, Jago Lee Caribou, Justin Bernard Hart and Jersey Rose Hart; mother: Judy Caribou (Joseph Francois); father: Peter Sinclair: brothers: Michael Caribou, Richard Caribou, Diamond Caribou, Thunder Cook, Lightning Cook, three stepbrothers and step-sister. Grandmothers: Caroline Caribou and Verna Sinclair and numerous family, friends whom he all loved. Predeceased by his grandfathers: Slim Jeremie Caribou and Peter Sinclair. Pallbearers: Michael Caribou, Richard Caribou, Diamond Caribou, Robert Caribou, Jeremie Caribou. Viewing will be held at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr Street, Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Burial at Brookside Cemetery. Grew up with this man. He was always fun to be around, as the last comment there was a bunch of us. We all hung out to chill and be together, nothing bad, just enjoyed each other's company, he was the funny one, he always made everyone smile and laugh. I just saw him 2 weeks ago to. grew up with him, he was a funny guy he didnt try being funny he just was :D Used to hang out, a big group of us around the eastwood area in Thompson.
