Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • With Annie working for our family over many years, it was natural for her to become part of the family. She taught me many things as I was growing up that I am still able to use in my home to this day. I will always remember her pyrogies, helpfulness and hard work. My condolences to the family. - Posted by: Lois Offerman (Hershfield) (Friend) on: Jan 26, 2012

  • My condolences to you on the loss of your Mom and grandmother. Annie was our cleaning lady on Jefferson Avenue, for many, many years. She not only cleaned, she cooked many a meal for us, and when she came, we had to eat early, so that Annie could wash up the dishes! Annie would 'hire' Nick to do minor repairs in our home. Not only was Annie an employee, she was a friend to our entire family. After 45 years, I still think often and fondly of Annie. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories you have. - Posted by: Maxine Hershfield () on: Jan 26, 2012

  • I will always remember Mrs. M. walking. I think she was the one who helped make "walking" the new healthy workout. I will always remember her visits over to my Babas and the discussions on gardening tips and techniques! She will be missed and we are sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Laurissa Head/Nicholas Sidorenko (Family Friends) on: Jan 26, 2012
