Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I met Mom Dec/71 at our wedding and if I could have ordered the best Mother-in-law I could have not done better. She was the best of the best. She loved family and I shall always remember how hard she worked at all our gatherings. She welcomed all our friends into her home and made them feel welcome. I lost my Mom at 21 and she accepted me as part of the family right from the get go and filled a huge gap in my life. I cannot say how much I loved her and will miss her. Thank-you for being you and part of my life and our family. - Posted by: Belinda (daughter-in-law) on: Jan 26, 2012

  • Our deepest sympathy to all of you. I have many happy memories of our "younger" years - summer holidays - visits at Grandma Burnett's - Christmas dinner with you in Carman. I don't know how we all fit into that apartment, but we sure did have fun. Remember the good times when things are hard. They are all part of us too. - Posted by: Isabelle Waddell (Niece) on: Jan 25, 2012

  • Our deepest sympathy to all of you on the loss of your Mom. The pain will go with time and all the good memories will rise to the top. - Posted by: A J Taylor (Friend of Bill) on: Jan 25, 2012

  • I'll always remember Grandma for her love and skill for knitting. I still remember sitting with her while she taught me to knit and still have one of her sweaters. She will be missed by all who knew her. - Posted by: Cindy Sorsdahl (Granddaughter) on: Jan 25, 2012
