  • Dear Family members, Judy and I were surprised to read of Lorraine's death in the Free Press this morning. We both have fond memories of you all. When I was pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Brandon (1970-77) I was involved in serving a number of Lutheran families in the Virden area, and we used St. Mary's Anglican Church as a place of worship. Your parents were very active in the church. I also remember driving to your house outside Virden. Your Mom was a great hostess as she invited us for an evening meal or coffee. We enjoyed the hospitality and conversation. Sine leaving Brandon we have lived in Wpg and it was always a delight to reconnect. Our prayers are with you as you celebrate the life and mourn the death of your wife and mother. May God's love and gift of peace be with you. (Rev.)
