TRACEY DAWN DELEY (nee HALLICK) 1966 - 2012 It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Tracey on January 24, 2012. Tracey is survived by her loving husband Jim; her parents Pat and Barry Hallick; sisters Kim (Harry), Crissy (Tim), Jodi; Tracey's beloved nephew Simon; niece Jennine; nephew Sam and many loving family and friends. Tracey will be remembered for her sweet and gentle spirit. She was loving and kind and passionately devoted to her family. Among one of her greatest joys was cooking family dinners and planning special parties and family events. Her happiest moments were spent with her family at Winnipeg Beach, camping at Birds Hill Park, going to Rainbow Stage and Folklorama. Tracey was an avid sports fan and enjoyed NFL football, curling and Formula 1 racing. She loved to go bowling, watching Goldeyes games in the summer and hockey in the winter. Thank you Tracey for all the warm memories of happy times shared, for always making us feel loved and special and for being the loving wife, daughter, sister, aunty, cousin and friend you have always been. Tracey cherished the relationships she had with her coworkers at Aikins Macaulay and Thorvaldson where she worked for just under 20 years. She was respected by her peers and colleagues for her dedication, loyalty and strong work ethic. Tracey always said it like it is and now so will we. We love you, we miss you and we will honour you forever. Special thanks to the St. Boniface renal clinic for all their help. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the United Way Tomorrow Fund. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. • I am so sorry to hear of Tracey's sudden passing. She has been our 'go-to' person for as many years as I care to recall - when you think 'Manitoba' in this business, you think 'Tracey Deley'. Although we only met once, connecting with Tracey over the years, whether by phone or email, was always a pleasure and she always had the 'right' answer. My sincere condolences to her family, friends and co-workers. - Posted by: Brenda Novlesky (Professional Colleague - Fraser Milner Casgrain (Calgary)) on: Jan 31, 2012

  • My deepest sympathies to Pat, Barry, and Family. Although I didn't know Tracey well, I did meet her a few times and remember her beautiful welcoming smile. Sounds like she enjoyed alot in life and was free to be herself as she "said it like it is" like most of our relatives do. May this be a comfort to the family that she had that peace in her life and may she rest in peace. Love Meghan, Andy, Christopher, and Bradley xx - Posted by: Meghan McLean (Cousin) on: Jan 31, 2012

  • I worked with Tracey from 1999 - 2005, and during that time could count on her for many things, but most of all for her straight-up answers...and her live "Big Brother" feeds. She was a pillar in the paralegal community, helping shape the career paths of those she worked with. I wish I had the opportunity to thank her for that. My deepest, deepest condolences to her family; Tracey will be so missed. - Posted by: Michelle Muir (Sattler) (Co-worker) on: Jan 28, 2012
