  • Having worked with Al, this comes as a sad moment in my life. Our deepest sympathy, Rose, to you and your family. Although we will be unable to attend the funeral, our thoughts & prayers will be with all of you. - Posted by: Jules & Jocelyne Candaele (Friend & co-worker) on: Jan 29, 2012

  • He was full of fun and life. I remember the day he dressed up as OSAMA bin LADEN at one of our Xmas parties and read a poem. He enjoyed curling and his friends. He also loved to sing at Xmas parties. Deepest condolences to all the family and to JIM and family from our olph church. I am so sorry I could not be there but am currently in MESA Az. My husband died one year ago on JAN 27th and am sure both Al and Mel are in a better place where they are sharing curling stories. LOVE AND God bless; BENA SLY AND FAMILY - Posted by: Bena Sly (curling friend) on: Jan 28, 2012
