ERIC VIZNAUGH October 15, 1937 - January 29, 2012 Our Dad passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the age of 74 years. To cherish his memory are his family: children Eric Jr., Brad (Lana), Wanda (Steve), Todd (Karen) and Gail; grandchildren Derek, Steven, Chelsea and Brianne; siblings, Mae, Orval (Marcella), Murray (Phyllis), Verne, Wayne, Armond (Helen), and Darlene; numerous nieces and nephews, and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his baby daughter Sheila; mother Florence; father Norman; brothers Bill and Peter; infant brother Paul, and infant sister. Eric was born October 15, 1937. He worked at various jobs including Bush Camps, Fisheries, C.P.R., Lakeland Dairies, Zero Food Sales and his own Catering Truck (Eric's Bun Wagon) business for 29 years where he made many friends. He enjoyed most sports and was very competitive, however his passion was hockey, CFL, fastball and pool. Eric passed this spirit down to his children. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and Karaoke. A special Thank You to the staff at Southwood Hospice, Palliative Care Unit. A Funeral Service will be held to honour Eric's life at Pierson's Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 - 17 Avenue SE, on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. There are Angels among Us In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, www.cancer.ca.
