JULIA JEAN MARIE HUNTER February 3, 1971 - January 30, 2012 With deep sorrow we mourn the passing of Julia Hunter, on January 30, 2012. Julia leaves to mourn her children David, Miranda, Dustin, Curtis, Cody, Melissa and Tyler; her grandchildren Kassidy, Nathaniel, and Trevor Jr.; her parents Paul and Gloria Lebold; her sisters Nancy (Norman), Cindy (Jon); brothers John (Erin) and Paul Jr., as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Julia was predeceased by her father John Hunter, sister Jennifer Hunter, and father of her children Sam Severight. She was a great mother, sister, auntie, and grandmother. Julia had many friends in Winnipeg and on Waywayseecappo reserve. She will be missed by many of her friends. Julia volunteered at Turtle Island and was a founding member of the Lord Selkirk Aboriginal Women's Group. Julia had a heart of gold and would help out whenever she could. Prayers will be held at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr Street, Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Wake services will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012 and funeral service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., all from the Waywayseecappo Band Hall with interment to follow. We had so many wonderful times living together first on Charles and then on Garfield . You were the sister I never had, till we moved away and lost touch.   • condolences to your family, I never heard of your passing, i only found out today. i was talking to our friend chris and i asked if he has ever seen you and he told me the sad news. my friend we met when you lived on harbison ave. me, you and jamie hung out, we were 13 years old. at one time you even lived with me and my parents, they took you in. we had so many good times so many laughs, and many cries.
