I saw Lindsay several months ago when I took my Mom to visit his Mom. Lindsay and I are the same age and went all through school together. He was home as well and we got a good chance to visit that day, and he was hysterical. The Moms got quite a kick out of our stories. Sincerest condolences to the Harmer Family from the Marsden Family. - Posted by: Linell Marsden (Family Friend) on: Feb 23, 2012

Hey Lizard, I was shocked to say the least when Cheryl called me to tell me of your passing. I will always remember your sense of humor as warped and morbid as it was. It was very good to see ya last Feb when I saw you and Ma on my visit if I would have known it was my last I would have harrassed you more. Rest well Lizard and don't bug Pa & Egg to much on cards...Love Bigfoot - Posted by: Countess Kannawin (Sister (extended family )) on: Feb 06, 2012

Lindsay used to be our paperboy and manys time we asked him to stop long enough to warm up and have a bowl of homemade soup. I used to feel so sorry for the long cold route you had in the winter. You were great! - Posted by: Wendy Heppenstall Chartrand (customer) on: Feb 04, 2012

WOW! Couldn't believe it when I heard you were gone. Lot of memories over the last 43 years to last a lifetime. Favorite one that stuck out is when we piled ten people into a volkswagon with you on the bottom and a voice yelling out I'm gonna barf, forcing the driver to pull over and everyone to pile out of the car in 20 below weather, then sticking your head out the window and yelling, "ha ha, scarred you out. We shared a lot over the years buddy and always remained best friends. Your sense of humor was unique to say the least, but you always made people laugh in any situation. Always the life of the party. You were the definition of the phrase "BEST FRIEND" and will definitely be missed buddy. I also have a funny suspicion that Heaven will never be the same. So saddened by the loss of a true dear friend. Lindsay was an awesome, caring, loved person. You could always count on Lindsay to make your frown turn upside down with his "one of a kind" humor. You couldn't resist to laugh when he was around. Rest in peace dear friend, You'll always hold a special place in our hearts. xxxooo - Posted by: Chuck,Charlene Welby and Family (Close friends) on: Feb 03, 2012

Lindsay had a weird sense of humor. He could make you laugh at the stupidest things. Then make it look like you were nuts because you were laughing so hard, he would then deny causing you to laugh making you look even crazier. So you laughed so hard tears would come to your eyes and then you would want to slap him for making you look like a fool. - Posted by: Cheryl Harmer-Meyer (Sister) on: Feb 03, 2012

Link was a character! Hung out with Lindsay and my other cousins when our family moved here in the early 70's. Lindsay was willing and able to show us around and how to survive in the "Peg". Lots of time spent in and around Kildonan Park. Godspeed Link. You will be missed. - Posted by: Randy Harmer (Cousin) on: Feb 03, 2012

Worked with Lindsay and there was always a good laugh to be had. Sad part is I just sat and talked to him on the bus January 24 and said we'll have to get together to talk about the good old days. Lost too soon. - Posted by: larry shologin () on: Feb 02, 2012

Lindsey could always be counted to make you laugh, he had a way about him that always put everyone at ease. He loved to laugh and tease and was fun to be around. I thought highly of him for taking care of his ailing mom, even though he worked full time. You will be missed and we pay tribute to you and the wonderful memories you left us with. - Posted by: Robert and Diane Welby (Friends) on: Feb 02, 2012

Lindsay was such a kind hearted, funny, loving person. No matter what the situation he could always make me laugh. He would call me nasty nessa when I was having a bad day and I could not help but smile. He was always there for me over the years. He was a great guy and I will miss him. - Posted by: Vanessa Brydges (friend) on: Feb 02, 2012

You could always count on Lindsay to put you in a better mood because he would always make you laugh. Lindsay loved to get my mom, Mrs. Welby going, always teasing her. I remember my mom getting so mad at Lindsay (and my brothers) that she chased him around the block with a broom. We will miss you Lindsay and you will be forever in our hearts. - Posted by: Donna ((Like a brother to me)) on: Feb 02, 2012

You will always be remembered for your wit. You sure could make people laugh, one of your best comments was when we were at the show, this person sat in front of you and their hair blocked your view and you said in the whole desert and I have to be behind the only tumbleweed in the place. You will be dearly missed by everyone. - Posted by: david and doris fergusson (cousin) on: Feb 01, 2012
